Central Standard Guide to What's In for 2009 (The Second in a Multi-part Series)

Sorry to leave you hanging for so long. Monkey and I were entertaining some Southern boys for the weekend. They left for Dixie on Sunday morning, firmly convinced that there is no place like Nebraska.

Here's some more up-to-the-second style tips for the coming year.

IN: Cambodian
OUT: Thai

At least, that's what I heard.

IN: Stermps
OUT: Stamps

Well, unless you want the terrorists to destroy your mail.

IN: The Wishbone
OUT: The Spread

Because, everything runs in cycles.

IN: Cool
OUT: Nucular

Need I say more (and George say less)?

IN: College Basketball
OUT: College Football

After January 8, all thoughts turn to March.

This is only a test.

You done passed that test and schooled me. I don't know what I must have done wrong both times I tried to comment. Perhaps I was wearing my hat hat hat and my comment was promptly ejected....

So I will try again because I am dedicated like that that that.

Somethin somethin about how the Cambodian/Thai deal was listed as in for *2008* so how's it supposed to be in for 2009? You think a sister don't click yo' links? Shit.

I continue to think that Reda on Facebook would be in for 2009 - or at the very least, fun for me.

Also in for 2009: more hat hat hat.

May you enjoy tonight's full moon in all its unusual closeness to earth and all the related weirdness near you. (What ever happened to crazy?)

The "last-year-ness" of the link is supposed to be part of the sub-tle humor. Expect Reda on Facebook in Two Thousand and Never. My fortune says: More Hat in 2009 (and beyond)!

Apparently so-called "humor" is in for 2009. I figured Facebook Reda was a highly unlikely, and thus unfavorable, wish. But I had to put it out there.
