Fingers Too Cold to Type Too Much

I will spare you an extended homage to the groundhog. It has been done before, and I don't want to be too predictable. Today, after all, is merely the spectacular end of a long and difficult year for whistle pigs everywhere, a year in which they are mostly disregarded, or hunted and killed, with no real in between. On this day, they are paid tense attention to, with many celebrating, and some berating them. But, on this one day, all their feelings of inadequacy or peril are put away, and they are free to remind us that winter will end, regardless of how much ice or snow we may have endured (or will have to endure).

And that, my friends, is all I have to say about that.

Short homage also = good.

Missing your beard today? At the risk of evoking the ire of Monkey, don't you wish you hadn't shaved it off so early? You could have wrapped up your hands and all your chil'uns in it today.

I knew I could count on you to in a round about sort of way - kind of say something about or at least try not to mention too much the ghog!

Taking the day off tomorrow to buy a car with HEATED seats! Who knew they were so desirable? Now....I know.

Happy 2 February 2010 - Jwade

Now Monkey, I know you know how bad it feels to be cold! If you could grow a long-ass beard to keep warm, you know you would do it! I mean, a brother's fingers are too cold to type. Come on now!
